1st year blog-oversary!

This blog is 1 year old today.  I had been reading blogs and thinking about starting one for years before I finally began this one.  I started a few blogs before this one but quickly lost interest.  When I finally decided to start a blog, I promised myself I would maintain it for at least 3 months so I thought carefully about a theme and chose to focus on holidays which are a passion of mine.

I was worried this blog would join the list of other abandoned projects in my past so I’m pretty pleased I’ve been able to keep it up for a year.  More than that, I’m pleased that people actually read this blog!  At the beginning, I couldn’t even say “At least, my mother reads my blog.” because she never goes on the internet.  A big part of those who read my blog are people I’ve never met in real life and I am grateful for that.

I hope to keep this blog going for as long as possible and to keep showing you new places or new ways to see the same old places so I hope you keep reading my blog and if there are topics you would like to see on this blog, please let me know.  Below, I’ve listed my favourite blog posts and also the most popular posts on my blog over the past year.  I hope you enjoy them 🙂
