The 1st reason you keep attracting the same sort of guy is that deep down, those are the kinds of guys you like. Now, I know that there may be some of you out there disagreeing with me right now. You’re like, “How can she say I like being cheated on? I hated being cheated on.” Relax, let me explain myself. You might not like being cheated on but you like the attention that comes from a player and that is the issue.
Players can be smooth. They know the right things to say and the right things to do to get you but they also often say the same sort of things. They are the same sort of people so after a while, you can actually spot them. So the next time you meet a cute guy and your tummy or inside you is telling you that this guy is definitely a player, you should ignore him.
But the issue is that for many women, instead of ignoring that kind of guy, despite the bad feelings they have, they’ll still date him. And that is why they’ll find themselves in yet another relationship with the wrong kind of guy.
If you want to avoid this kind of situation, you have to work through your feelings, your need to get attention from players and the wrong sort of men. Work through those feelings and then you’ll be on your way to attracting better sort of men.
The 2nd reason you keep attracting the same sort of guys is that nothing has changed in your life. You’re doing the same work, going to the same places and seeing the same people. Is it any surprise that you keep attracting the same sort of men? If you want to stop attracting the same sort of men, you HAVE to stop doing the same sort of things! You have to change something about your life. Change your routine. Change the way you do things. Even if it’s just one small thing about your life that you change every single month, change it so that you can start getting different results.
The 3rd and final reason why you keep attracting the same sort of guys is that you haven’t spelled out exactly the right kind of guy for you. Can you describe in detail, the right guy for you? Can you describe him to yourself? Can you describe him to other people? If you can’t then that is the problem.
What you need to do is take out a piece of paper and write down in great detail, what your ideal man is like. When you’re doing this exercise, you need to focus on traits that will last so don’t think about surface things like how the guy looks, how tall he is or how much money he has. Those are things that can change easily or those are things that are not so important because they’re not going to influence how happy you feel in the long run.
When you’re doing this exercise, write down the characteristics of your ideal guy, the inner traits that he will have because those are the qualities that are more likely to last. When you do this exercise and you focus on the inner qualities of your ideal man, then you are in the right position to start attracting better men.
