Holidays with Oyinda

One of the places Oyinda first remembers going on holiday was to Rio de Janeiro

1.    Tell us about the very first holiday you remember going on.

Going on a family holiday to Rio de Janeiro.  I was really young then but I can still remember waking up every morning and seeing people on the beach at 7am.  I remember the vibe and the food.

2.  What has been your most memorable holiday?

I have too many: going on a cruise with family and friends for my mum’s birthday – we took the Royal Caribbean and sailed to the western Caribbean.  It was fun, we went snorkelling in the middle of the sea in Haiti, swam with dolphins in Orcho Rios , Jamaica, spent all day on the beach in the Cayman Islands and partied on the ship.  Another memorable holiday was spending a week in Mauritius and Istanbul in February last year.  It was cold and beautiful.

3.  What do you like most about vacations?

Being in a different country, sight-seeing, experiencing different cultures and relaxing.

4.  What do you hate most about vacations?

Airports and flying to my destination.

5.  How would you spend your perfect day on holiday?

Relaxing by the pool, then going to a good spa and later having a really nice dinner.

6.  Where would you most like to go on holiday?

Hmmm – There are so many places that I am dying to visit –  Abu Dhabi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia (Victoria Falls) on Safari, Zanzibar, Sweden, Alaska and Shama el Sheikh in Egypt.
