The easiest way I know how you can get the guy that you want is by using affirmations. Before we go into how to use affirmations to attract the kind of guy that you want, let’s talk about what an affirmation is, first of all.
An affirmation is a statement made in the present tense that describes exactly what you want. It describes your ideal situation and serves as motivation for you. An example of an affirmation is, ‘I am married to my ideal man.’
There are some things that you need to know about affirmations. The first thing is that affirmations should always be made in the present tense – not the past or the future but in present tense. An example of an affirmation is, ‘My boyfriend is loyal.’ An example of a bad affirmation is, ‘My boyfriend will be loyal.’
The second thing you need to know about affirmations is that they need to be positive. So, for example, you can use an affirmation that says, ‘My boyfriend is loyal’ but you shouldn’t use an affirmation that says, ‘My boyfriend will not cheat on me.’
The third and possibly the most important thing you need to know about affirmations is that they must excite you. If you say something like, ‘My boyfriend loves talking about art’ but talking about art bores you to death, that is not a good affirmation and is not going to help you get the kind of guy that you want.
Now that we’ve talked about the basics of affirmations, let’s talk about how you can use them to get the kind of guy that you want. The first thing you need to do is to write down 2 or 3 affirmations using the tips I just described.
Next, choose one of these affirmations and say it to yourself in the morning and in the evening, several times. Also say it to yourself throughout the day as you remember. The most important thing when saying affirmations to yourself is to have a lot of feeling with it.
For example, if your affirmation is, ‘I have a boyfriend who makes me laugh’, imagine what it would actually feel like to have a boyfriend who makes you laugh. How would you feel? What would it do to you? That imagination, that feeling that you get from having a boyfriend who makes you laugh is what you should conjure within yourself when you’re saying your affirmations.
Let that feeling flow through you as you say to yourself in the morning and in the evening, ‘I have a boyfriend who makes me laugh, I have a boyfriend who makes me laugh, I have a boyfriend who makes me laugh.’ It needs to feel good to you for it to work.
Whenever you get bored with the affirmation that you’re using, choose another one of the affirmations that you wrote down earlier and say it to yourself every morning, every evening and throughout the day like we talked about earlier.
It’s important to be aware of what you’re saying when you’re using affirmations. Don’t just repeat things or say things by rote. Imagination and feelings are the most important things when using affirmations.
