How to know if you’re wasting your time on the wrong man.

Human beings generally don’t like change and one of the places that is most obvious is when it comes to relationships.  A woman might date a man for ages.  She might be unhappy, she might be unsatisfied but she might not leave because she’s afraid of change and she doesn’t know whether this guy is right for her or not.  That is a situation I hope to help today.  Today, I’m going to be talking about how to know if you’re wasting your time on the wrong man.

The very 1st way to know if you’re wasting your time on the wrong man is to ask yourself how you feel.  Through schooling and the workplace, we’ve been told that we shouldn’t rely on our feelings or our emotions or our intuition.  We’re told to rely on logic or what we can see – physical things, physical evidence.  But is that always the right way, particularly when it comes to relationships?

Your feelings can reveal more to you than physical evidence ever could.  Imagine the number of women who know somehow that their husband or their boyfriend is cheating way before they come across physical evidence that he HAS been cheating.  How do you explain that?  Feelings are very very important.

So if you want to know if you’re wasting your time on the wrong man, ask yourself how you feel.  Are you happy in the relationship or are you sad most of the time?  If you’re sad most of the time in a particular relationship, it’s a big sign that you’re wasting your time on the wrong man.

The 2nd sign that you’re wasting your time on the wrong man is that your relationship is exactly the same as it was three months or a year ago and you’re not happy with it.  If you don’t feel that your relationship has improved, is moving forward or is going in the direction that is making you happy, then that could be a sign that you’re wasting your time on the wrong man.

Now, your relationship being exactly the same as it was 3 months ago or a year ago does not mean that you should immediately go and break up with your boyfriend.  That’s too rash.  But it does mean that you should do some self-analysis and ask a lot of questions of yourself and of your partner.

Think of where you had hoped your relationship would be by now and then talk to your partner about it.  If your partner does not think that there’s anything wrong with the relationship, if he’s fine with things as they are, and you are not then it could be a sign that you’re wasting your time on the wrong man.  It may be time to cut your losses and move on.  Don’t let a man waste your time.  The right man for you is out there looking for you.  Don’t keep him waiting.
